Angelie Spurling is Valley National Bank’s FL-West Market Director of Business Banking and Professional and Executive Banking. Mrs. Spurling is an accomplished banker with twenty-two years of experience. She began her professional banking career in 1999 at Manufacturers Bank of Florida in the Commercial Credit Department as a Credit Analyst. In 2001, Colonial Bank acquired Manufacturers Bank, and at this time, Mrs. Spurling became a Loan Officer. In early 2008, Ms. Spurling joined USAmeriBank as a Commercial Lender. Today she is a First Senior Vice President and Regional President for Valley’s Business Banking team is Florida and Alabama markets.
Mrs. Spurling is a graduate of the University of South Florida, Florida School of Banking, Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Wharton Leadership Program. She is also a member of The Boys and Girls Club of Tampa Bay Corporate Board, University of South Florida Women in Leadership and Philanthropy and University of South Florida Alumni Association. As a woman in business, Angelie finds inspiration when she masters a challenge or overcomes a difficult situation. She loves taking on challenges that help her grow.
